All over San Francisco and Marin, people are holding Food & Fund Drives to support the Food Bank and help neighbors in need. Here are some of the current and upcoming drives.
October 25 - December 31, 2013
Corte Madera Town Center
The Great Turkey is back at Corte Madera Town Center! Throughout November and December, shoppers may leave canned foods and cash at the site, all of which will be donated to the Food Bank.
Whole Foods Market and KPIX "Feed 4 More" Drive
November 1, 2013 - January 1, 2014
Stop into any Whole Food locations in San Francisco or Marin Counties and donate a $5 Breakfast, $10 Lunch or Dinner, or $25 Full Day Meal for donation. (Meals typically feed a family of four.) Customers may also round out an order and donate any dollar amount at the cash register.
You are also welcome to drop food in barrels in stores that allow customers to donate their own non-perishable products. Donations received at any of the Whole Foods locations in San Francisco or Main County will be donated to the San Francisco and Marin Food Banks.
Safeway and NBC “Help Us End Hunger” Drive
November 13 - December 25, 2013
Shop at Safeway between November 13 and December 25, and help make a family’s holiday brighter by purchasing a bag of pre-selected grocery items for $10, including some of the Food Bank’s most needed foods. All bags will be delivered directly to the Food Bank.

Over 30 local Bay Area start-up tech companies including ZeroCater, Twice, and Getaround will come together this holiday season for the second annual Tech Gives Back campaign with the goal to raise over $75,000 for the San Francisco and Marin Food Banks and other local charities. All Bay Area residents are invited to ZeroCater’s FoodforAllEvent, the end of campaign event taking place at SF Public Works on Tuesday, December 10th from 6-9 pm.

The harsh San Francisco winter is upon us and we're snowballing into our next show with a stocking full of seasonal sketches. So shovel out that driveway, wrap up that holiday shopping and come enjoy some wintry-themed comedy! They are also running a Holiday Food and Clothing Drive, with the food drive benefiting the San Francisco and Marin Food Banks.
