During the project shift, volunteers help to get food ready to be distributed to soup kitchens, food pantries, and children's snack programs.  

Projects typically involve:

• Sorting donations from food drives and grocery stores
• Repackaging bulk food into family-sized quantities
• Gleaning fresh produce
• Assembling grocery boxes for seniors

 

In a single shift, you can make an impact on thousands throughout San Francisco and Marin. 

All food sorting projects take place at our warehouse at 900 Pennsylvania Ave.
